PeakRadar.com is COPPeR’s signature audience development program. The site, a comprehensive arts and culture events calendar, is a vital tool for increasing cultural participation. Since its launch in June 2007, PeakRadar.com has brought awareness of a vast array of arts activities to residents and visitors and it continues to grow. 2013 was a record year for the site, increasing total page views by nearly 60% compared to 2012, while mobile site views saw a 107% increase! PeakRadar.com is now home to over 750 arts and cultural organization listings, 650 venue listings, and 380 artist profiles.
PeakRadar.com continues to partner with the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and the Downtown Partnership to provide event information for their online calendars, and has added a similar partnership with Pikes Peak Country Attractions. This widget capability greatly expands COPPeR and Peak Radar’s reach and has the potential to be incorporated into any website. Please contact Angela Seals to request more information. These partnerships, as well as those with print and radio media, amplify the power of arts and cultural groups to reach new audiences.
Peak Radar’s Audience Development Programs also include weekly Peak Radar Picks e-blasts, which highlight 6-8 upcoming events each week. If you are interested in being a “guest curator” for the weekly eblast contact Brittney McDonald-Lantzer, or click here to join the mailing list! Finally, COPPeR produces Peak Radar Guides to thematic topics, which are available in print and in PDF form downloadable online.
